Photo Story
All cities have character but not all cities have “characters” as Bruce Gilden likes to call them. Some cities aren’t very photogenic at first glance and some cities show it off on every corner. Tel Aviv definitely belongs to the latter and I fully took advantage of it during the three days I spent there even though I would love to have double that time.
Skateboards are not only for teenagers. Many people ride in Tel Aviv
Tel Avivians keep their dogs disciplined. Everywhere I went on the beach or at dog parks there was absolute order. And of course lots of fetch
This gentleman really stood out among the beach goers with his classy suit and bell pants
An outdoor gym on Gordon beach. One of the many on Tel Aviv promenade and people are actually using them
One of the few thinks that reminded Middle East. This concrete monstrosity with the two strange statues.
Tel Aviv is a hip city but not in a pretentious way. It has its own character.
A girl with roller blades pushing a girl on skateboard. They gave me time only for three shots and I kept the last one.
Traffic on Shlomo Lahat Promenade.
Street photography is legal in Tel Aviv and people are very cool about it as long as you don’t cross the line. I really enjoyed the hours I spent on the beach among the crowds. I’m sure that even if I went there once a week for months I would come back with something different every single time. And that’s the beauty of it.
