Casa Luxembourg in Sibiu

Casa Luxembourg is located at the corner of Piața Mică and the Bridge of Liars in a beautiful historical building This small hotel is full of baroque charm and magnificent views. Two minutes form Sibiu’s large square and the stunning church of Holy Trinity.

My Superior double room was so big you could play football in it. The bed was of epic proportions and there was also a double bed couch for two more people to sleep on. High ceilings is also one of my favorite European elements. Pistachio walls and burgundy curtains matched the heavy baroque furniture nicely but what was really breathtaking was the view to the Small square and the Bridge of Lies which was just under my northern windows. An amazing sight, especially during the night with all the lights on.

Breakfast was basic but tasty and the dinning room was charming with red carpets and beautiful lights hanging from the ceiling above each table. It had the coziness of a café and matched the rest of the hotel nicely.

The hotel can offer to customers several tours in Sibiu and the surrounding area for every interest and taste.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful making me feel welcomed from the first minute. I loved my stay and I will surely return back, next time for Christmas. Sibiu has some amazing Christmas markets and I bet a heartwarming festive ambient.
